Construction Estimator

Our client is experiencing significant growth and is currently seeking Estimators and Quantity Surveyors to join their well-established North London office team. Our client is primarily a brickwork company and has a record order book of secured work through to 2026, this is an exciting opportunity to work closely with company directors and an experienced commercial team.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a good understanding of the brick and blockwork sector, although this is not essential. A background in construction/new build would also be advantageous.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

• Producing interim valuations and agreeing final accounts.
• Carrying out project cost reconciliations.
• Performing take-offs.
• Writing Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
• Accurately pricing BoQs in line with contract requirements and market conditions.
• Conducting site visits ahead of tenders being submitted.
• Pursuing submitted tenders.
• Attending post-tender and pre-order meetings.
• Producing material procurement schedules.
• Reviewing sub-contract orders for director sign-off.

Projects range from £250,000 to £10,000,000 across various sectors, primarily located in London and the northern home counties. Current project locations include Kingston, Soho, Mayfair, St. Johns Wood, Knightsbridge, Beckton, Surrey Quays, Belgravia, Harrow, Stratford, Hounslow, Thamesmead, Marylebone, Old Street, and Highgate.

Salary and package are negotiable based on experience:
£65,000 – £100,000 per annum + package.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, but all levels welcome.
