Electrical Engineer

Strong Group Recruitment are working on behalf of it’s client who are currently looking for Electrical FM Engineers needed around Hertfordshire, Essex, Greater London & Kent

Start Date: ASAP
Salary Bracket: £40,000 – £46,000
Works Location: Hertfordshire, Essex, Greater London, Kent

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Undertake servicing, repairs, and maintenance of commercial electrical installations, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).

• Demonstrate a good all-round competency with electrical installations, including metal conduit work.

• Conduct fault-finding with documented diagnostics and provide a clear path to remedial works.

• Perform electrical testing, including EICR and emergency lighting testing.

• Carry out reactive works efficiently and independently.

• Attend callouts during working hours and participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.

• Utilize the job management system to complete and submit clear, concise, and accurate reports on work carried out, further work required, and electrical compliance certification.

• Maintain regular communication with the FM helpdesk and Contract Manager regarding job progress.

Skills & Qualifications Required

• NVQ Level 3 and City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2 Qualification & 18th Edition.*

• City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 Inspection and Testing (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence

• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations.

• Strong knowledge of test certification and IT literacy.

• Preferred Certifications (not essential):

  • CSCS Card

  • First Aid Training

The salary on offer is between 40,000k – 45,000k dependent on experience and qualifications
