Electrical Estimator

Position: Electrical Estimator
Location: Central London or Herefordshire Office
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hybrid Working: Available after successful completion of probation period

About the Role:
Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on office fit-out projects (Cat A and Cat B) with values up to £3 million. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company’s continued growth and delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze tender documentation to develop accurate cost estimates.

• Prepare and submit quotations for electrical works on Cat A and Cat B office fit-out projects.

• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and comprehensive scope coverage.

• Manage project estimation processes from initial inquiry to final submission.

• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings as required.

• Provide support to the project delivery team by ensuring smooth handover of estimates.

• Stay updated with market trends, pricing structures, and industry developments.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the construction industry, particularly with office fit-out projects.

• Strong knowledge of Cat A and Cat B fit-outs and the associated electrical systems.

• Proficiency in using Amtech estimation software.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient in relevant estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
