Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely electrical estimates for our projects. This role is essential for ensuring competitive and viable bids that align with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Interface with contractors, architects, engineers, and others to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve potential issues in the early stages.
• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors and participate in project proposals.
• Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an electrical estimator.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems involved in office fit-outs and healthcare/medical facility projects.
• Proficient with estimating software and MS Office.
• Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
