Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Location: Oxford, UK
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum, plus bonus

They specialize in diverse sectors including Commercial, Industrial, High-End Residential, Education, and Heritage. To support their ongoing expansion, they are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join their team.

Position Summary: The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of professionals in delivering accurate and competitive electrical system estimates for projects valued between £200k and £3m. The role demands precision, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to leverage Trimble software for efficient estimations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately estimate electrical projects by analyzing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Determine project costs, labour requirements, materials, and time schedules.
• Compile and present detailed estimates including both numerical and descriptive information.
• Ensure data integrity in cost databases through regular updates and backups.
• Enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
• Contribute to team objectives by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Collaborate closely with team members, clients, and subcontractors to refine estimates and secure competitive bids.
• Utilize Trimble software for all estimating tasks to ensure precision and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience in electrical estimating.
• Proficiency with Trimble estimating software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of multiple sectors including commercial, industrial, residential, educational, and heritage.
• Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and technical skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong capability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Preferably holding a degree in electrical engineering, quantity surveying, or a related discipline.
