About the Role
Our client, a well-established electrical contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team. Based in Northampton, this is an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage electrical projects within the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors, with project values ranging from £250,000 to £1.5 million.

The successful candidate will lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and budget targets are met, while maintaining strong client relationships. An SMSTS qualification is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical projects in commercial, residential, and industrial sectors, managing budgets from £250,000 to £1.5 million
• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects to meet timelines, budget, and quality standards
• Monitor all aspects of Health & Safety on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and SMSTS standards
• Manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure the highest standards of work
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, financial updates, and project forecasts to stakeholders
• Liaise with clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing updates as necessary

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally within commercial, residential, or industrial projects
• SMSTS certification (essential)
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations and safety standards
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for client and team interaction
