Location: London (Projects based across London with office visits in South London)

Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 per annum + Company Car

Company Overview: Our client is a leading electrical contractor specializing in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including healthcare and commercial. With two major hospital projects in London, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team and drive project success.

Role Overview: The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects ranging in value from £100,000 to £2.5 million. The role involves managing scheduling, finances, and client relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a client-facing role requiring a proactive approach and exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

   • Plan, execute, and manage multiple electrical projects from inception to completion.

   • Develop detailed project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.

2. Financial Management:

   • Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting.

   • Ensure financial objectives are met by forecasting requirements and preparing budgets.

3. Client Relations:

   • Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, professional relationships.

   • Regularly communicate progress, address client concerns, and provide solutions.

4. Team Coordination:

   • Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

   • Lead site teams to ensure quality standards and project requirements are met.

5. Compliance and Safety:

   • Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations.

   • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and safety standards.

6. Reporting:

   • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally within the healthcare or commercial sectors.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation processes, and industry standards.

• Track record of successfully managing projects ranging from £100,000 to £2.5 million.

• Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills.

• Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in project management tools and software.

• Valid UK driving license.

Additional Information:

• The role requires weekly visits to the South London office.

• Projects are based across London, so travel within the city will be necessary.

• The successful candidate will receive a company car as part of the compensation package.
