Fire Alarm Engineer – Electrical

Strong Group are acting on behalf of their client who are a trusted family run business who specialise in fire safety engineering, located in Surrey.

They are looking to recruit 1 X Fire Alarm Engineer to carry out work within the M25 area on a permanent basis.

Candidate specification:

• Must have minimum 3 years fire alarm and emergency lighting servicing experience
• Must have relevant electrical qualifications
• 18th edition (or working towards)
• Must have experience carrying out fire alarm installations

Duties include:

• Carrying remedial works
• Carrying out signage surveys and installation of signs
• Liaising with office staff to assist in day to day work and to resolve queries
• Adhering to all H&S guidelines at all times and all policies and procedures which are stipulated in the Company Handbook
• Making judgement calls/decisions based on your experience within the industry
• Working on different Fire Alarm systems
• Carrying out fire alarm peripheral remedial works (door guards, remote lamp indicators etc)

You will be Installing various fire alarm systems and replenishing the ranks therefore must have relevant electrical skills and qualifications.

The salary on offer is around £30,000 depending on your skills and experience.
