Flooring Contracts Manager

Strong Recruitment Group are working on behalf of its client who are an established flooring company in the midlands.

We are currently looking for 1 x FLOORING CONTRACTS MANAGER needed in the midlands on a PERMANENT basis:

Start: ASAP

Duration: Permanent

Rate: £50K-60K DOE

Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays

Company car, mobile and laptop provided

Key Responsibilities:

– Working with our estimating team to facilitate efficient commencement on receipt of orders.
– Carry out pre-start site surveys.
– Order materials and organise labour.
– Produce RAMS using tailored software package.
– Ensure that Health and Safety requirements on site are adhered to at all times.
– Carry out toolbox talks as required.
– Ensure that projects run to time and on budget.

Experience:

– Proven experience in a contracts managerial role in the construction industry, PARTICLUARLY IN FLOORING, commercial and residential
– Knowledge in computer packages eg: word/outlook and excel
– Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
– A full current driving licence
– CSCS card needed, SSSTS, SMSTS Preferred
