Job Title: Groundworks Project/Site Manager
Location: Based in Ealing, Projects across London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Our client is a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor based in Ealing, delivering a wide range of projects across London and the surrounding areas. With a strong pipeline of work and a solid reputation for quality and reliability, they are seeking an experienced Project/Site Manager to join their growing team.
As a Groundworks Project/Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing groundworks and temporary installation works on projects typically valued up to £2 million. You’ll be responsible for ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundworks and civil engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of site delivery.
Manage daily site operations for groundworks and temporary installation projects
Oversee project planning, execution, and close-out, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company policies
Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and progress reports
Manage site staff and subcontractors, including scheduling, performance, and resourcing
Work closely with the commercial team to monitor budgets and variations
Problem-solve on-site issues to maintain progress and quality
Proven experience managing groundworks or civil engineering projects
Strong understanding of temporary works and their installation
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Full UK driving licence
SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card preferred), and First Aid certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
