The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced M&E Contracts Maintenance Manager to oversee hard services maintenance projects across London. This role will involve managing 15 projects simultaneously, ranging in value from £40k to £120k, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established contractor, working on high-profile projects with long-term blue-chip clients.


Key Responsibilities

Project & Contract Management

  • Oversee multiple M&E maintenance contracts across London, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and reactive maintenance.
  • Ensure SLA (Service Level Agreement) and KPI compliance across all projects.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and maintain long-term relationships.

Technical & Operational Oversight

  • Manage hard services maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with health & safety regulations (e.g., BS7671, F-Gas, Legionella, LOLER, PUWER, CDM).
  • Oversee subcontractors and in-house engineers, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

? Financial & Budget Control

  • Oversee project budgets ranging from £40k to £120k, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor cost forecasting, variations, and financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Provide regular updates, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients and support business growth.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in managing M&E maintenance contracts in a commercial environment.
Strong knowledge of hard services (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety).
Experience managing multiple contracts/projects ranging from £40k to £120k.
Strong understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
Excellent budget management and cost control skills.
Ability to manage subcontractors and in-house teams effectively.
Strong client-facing skills with a focus on relationship management and service delivery.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, IOSH/NEBOSH, C&G 18th Edition, HVAC certifications).
