Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 plus bonus plus car

Position Overview:
Our client, a leading provider of temperature control solutions, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to join their managerial team. This vital role involves overseeing the service department to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer support and after-sales services. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader capable of managing a team effectively, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving continuous improvement within the department. The role also includes responsibilities for expanding the client base and growing the service team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop the service department team, including technicians and customer service representatives.
• Customer Relations: Enhance customer relationships by providing top-tier service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery and monitor department performance.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the department’s budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all service activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
• Business Development: Drive revenue growth through proactive sales and service strategies.
• Team Growth: Recruit and train new team members to support department expansion.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Customer Focus: Commitment to exceptional service delivery and complex customer interaction management.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills and innovative solution development.
• Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of HVAC, M&E, commercial gas installations, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
