Position: Mechanical Project Manager (or M&E Project Manager with Mechanical Bias)
Location: Central London
Salary: £65,000 – £85,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:
Our client, a leading and rapidly growing company, is looking for a skilled Mechanical Project Manager (or an M&E Project Manager with a mechanical focus) to join their expanding team. This position offers the opportunity to manage projects with values up to £3 million across various sectors, including Commercial, Industrial, Leisure, Retail, Public, and Private sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and demonstrate a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical and M&E projects, ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver projects within scope.

  • Oversee mechanical installations, focusing on compliance with industry standards and quality assurance.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Review and monitor project progress, addressing any issues or risks promptly.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically with a mechanical bias.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and experience managing projects across multiple sectors.

  • Knowledge of M&E systems and experience managing mixed-discipline projects.

  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Familiarity with relevant software tools and systems.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on collaboration and client satisfaction.
