Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager / Site Manager
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Company Van
Location: Dartford (Office) | Buckinghamshire (Main Project Site)

Overview:

We’re working with a well-established mechanical contractor with over 20 years’ experience in domestic and commercial plumbing and heating. They’re looking to appoint either a Mechanical Project Manager or an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a major NHS hospital project in Buckinghamshire, with support from their Dartford head office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate mechanical works on a live NHS hospital site

• Manage or supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality delivery

• Ensure plumbing, boiler, and plant room installations meet project requirements

• Maintain health & safety standards and ensure compliance with NHS protocols

• Liaise with the wider project team – including design, procurement, and commercial teams

• Support project reporting and communication with stakeholders (PM level)

Requirements:

• Solid mechanical building services background (plumbing/plant rooms essential)

• SMSTS and relevant mechanical qualifications

• Experience on healthcare/NHS projects preferred

• Able to manage or supervise mechanical packages on site

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between Dartford and Buckinghamshire

Package:

• Salary up to £65,000 (depending on experience)
