Plumbing & Heating Engineer

Strong Group Recruitment are acting on behalf of it’s client who are looking for a Qualified Gas and Plumbing Engineer. As one of their engineers, you’ll carry out broad range of services including installs, repairs, servicing and maintenance.

Start: ASAP
Location: London & Surrounding counties
Hours: 9hr shifts – Monday – Friday + OT & Weekends avaliable

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled Gas Safe Engineer to join our team.

• The ideal candidate would have good knowledge of basic building works and a formal relevant qualification in plumbing and gas servicing, maintenance and installation to NVQ level 3.
• Experienced in both commercial and domestic gas installations.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the plumbing and heating industry
• Certificates such as CSCS, PASMA, IPAF etc would be an advantage but not essential as we would provide access to training courses as required.
• Demonstrate a good knowledge and experience in plumbing, heating and gas installations with the ability to confidently find and rectify faults.
• Have a good basic construction site knowledge sufficient to work safely and efficiently.
• The ability to communicate with colleagues and clients.
• Must be experienced and hardworking, with the ability to work to a high standard and on own initiative.
• Will need to be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision and have a flexible approach and a desire to take on new responsibilities.

Person Specification:

• Valid Gas Qualifications (Commercial a preference but not essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence
