Strong Recruitment Group currently have a new opportunity for an experienced Streetworks Coordinator to join our clients team at their office in Preston.

Location: Preston
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 (dependant on experience)
Office based position
Monday – Friday 07:30 – 16:30

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with local authorities to arrange all permits needed to complete the scheduled works
  • Process electronic permit notifications such as closures, registrations and modifications in line with NRSWA requirements
  • Maintain close working relations with local authorities and the client
  • Communicate with Site Mangers and Co-Ordinators to ensure Reinstatement
  • Communicating on a daily basis with the operatives on site for progress updates
  • Any Administrative duties related to your business area as requested by line manager

Experience Required:

  • Experience working for a Civil Engineering company or Principal Contractor, particularly in street works would be beneficial but not essential
  • Experienced in an administrative role
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced role
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to resolve contractual/ payment disputes or elevation to senior management
  • Experience with working on Microsoft office packages with advanced skills on Microsoft excel.
  • Experience working on bespoke systems
