Trainee AC Engineer

Strong Group[ Recruitment are working on behalf of it’s client who are looking for a Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer needed to work in Central London

This is a permanent contract direct with the client

Location: Central London (Travel paid to and from site)
Salary: £23,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team and work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in the trade. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior mechanical experience, such as Mechanical Mates, AC Mates, or HVAC Mates, who are looking to develop a career in air conditioning and HVAC systems.

The successful candidate will be enrolled in college in the spring, with a full apprenticeship commencing in September.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced engineers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems.
• Learn and develop skills in fault finding, servicing, and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
• Work on various sites across Central London while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Attend college and apprenticeship training as part of the structured learning program.

Requirements:

• Some prior experience in a mechanical trade (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar) is highly desirable.
• Willingness to learn and develop a career in air conditioning engineering.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a keen interest in mechanical systems.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from senior engineers.
• A valid UK driving license is advantageous but not essential.
