Electrical Estimator

Role Summary

An Electrical Estimator is required to join a growing and well-established electrical contractor delivering fit-out, construction, and NHS projects across the South East.

This role would suit either an experienced Electrical Estimator or a qualified electrician looking to progress off the tools into a pre-construction/estimating position.

The successful candidate will be office-based in Westerham with occasional client and site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical estimates and tender submissions
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Produce take-offs and pricing for labour, materials, and subcontractors
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
• Attend client meetings and occasional site visits
• Assist with value engineering opportunities
• Work closely with operational and commercial teams
• Support projects from enquiry through to handover

Requirements

• Qualified electrician background preferred
• Previous estimating experience beneficial but not essential
• Strong understanding of electrical installations
• Experience within fit-out, commercial, construction, or NHS environments preferred
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Full UK driving licence
