Air Conditioning Engineer

Strong M&E are recruiting for an experience Air Conditioning Engineer needed to cover various sites across Essex, London & Surrounding areas

This is a permanent position direct with our client

Start: ASAP
Hours: 40 hours week – 7:00am – 4:00pm (1hr unpaid break)

the role entails installing and maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for a range of projects across a variety of sectors; from small domestic projects to huge scale commercial projects
Key Responsibilities:

• Surveying sites ahead of installing heating, ventilation or air conditioning systems
• Installation and commissioning of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• On site coordination of pipework, ductwork and control panels
• Perform quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience within a similar role
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• F-Gas Qualifications
• Own hand tools
• Proven experience and knowledge within all aspects of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems and more specifically with split, multi-split, mini VRV/VRF, heat recovery VRV/VRF
• Capable of working to and understanding technical drawings
• Highly conscientious and well organised
• Demonstrated success in leading projects and managing a team
• Willingness to travel to attend sites
• Good written and verbal communication
• Confidence working independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to excel in a highly motivated company who strive to deliver quality projects

Benefits:

• Salary of £30,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
• 40 hour working week 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday with a 60 minute unpaid break
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays on completion of 5 years continuous service with the company

• Training courses as and when required

The annual salary on offer is completely dependent on your experience and ranges from £40,000 to £50,000k per year
