BIM Designer (2D or 3D – Revit & AutoCAD)

Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 + Package

Role Summary

An established specialist contractor within the roofing and façade sector is looking to recruit an experienced BIM Designer to join their growing design team.

The company delivers specialist roofing, rainscreen cladding, SFS and façade packages across a range of commercial projects throughout the UK.

This opportunity would suit either a 2D or 3D BIM Designer with strong Revit and/or AutoCAD experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and/or 3D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Develop BIM models for roofing, cladding and façade packages
• Coordinate designs with commercial, technical and project delivery teams
• Review construction drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Assist with technical submittals and drawing revisions
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, architects and contractors
• Ensure drawings are accurate and issued in line with project deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Designer, CAD Technician or Revit Designer
• Strong experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Experience working on roofing, cladding or façade projects preferred
• Good understanding of construction detailing and coordination
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• £50,000 – £65,000 salary depending on experience
