Cable Operatives (Teleccoms)

Strong Recruitment Group are currently looking for Telecoms or Electric Cable Operatives located in Kent and East Sussex on a contract basis.

Term: Long term ongoing

Start: within 2 weeks

Hours: 40 per week plus overtime

Location: they want people from Kent and East Sussex

Benefits: Van and fuel card 1 per two man team

The hourly rate is £16.25 per hour

We require 12 Operatives to make up 6 teams for a client to fulfil their BT Openreach network work over the coming months and years. If you have a telecoms background we want to hear from you.

Job Role

Working in a 2 man team you will have a van to take home and will go straight to site every day, the work will be in London and home counties. digging on the roads around cables, using caqt and genny, laying and pulling cables.

If you do well the company will take you on direct with them.

Essential Certs and Experience

• Telecoms or Electric Utility Experience
• Must have good experience of digging around cables
• NRSWA (Streetworks) 1 Man in the team needs this
• Cat & Genny (1 man on the team needs this)
• Towing Licence (1 person on team needs this
• First Aid (Preferred)
• Manual Handling (Preferred)
• Abrasive wheel (Preferred)
