Mechanical (Ductwork) Estimator

Strong Group are currently working with a leading Mechanical Building Services specialist in London who are actively searching for a capable Ductwork Estimator to join them on a permanent basis.

Job Description for a Ductwork Estimator:

• Utilise Ensign estimating software to prepare detailed estimates for ductwork projects
• Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand project requirements
• Attend Pre / Post tender client meetings
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
• Analyse materials, labour, and other costs to determine project pricing
• Prepare and present estimates to clients in a clear and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of estimating activities and update databases as necessary
• Previous experience as a Ductwork Estimator in the HVAC industry
• Proficiency in using Ensign estimating software is required
• Strong understanding of ductwork systems, materials, and construction methods
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Ability to interpret project specifications and drawings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
