Electrical Estimator – Lincoln Area – £55,000-£60,000 + Package

Role Summary

An Electrical Estimator is required to join a growing M&E contractor delivering a range of commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare projects. This is a key role within the pre-construction team, responsible for managing enquiries from initial receipt through to full tender submission.

Projects are typically local, with values ranging from £50k up to £2M.

Established Building Services contractor with a strong presence across commercial and public-sector projects. The business has a solid order book and consistent pipeline of work across multiple sectors, offering long-term stability and progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical tenders from enquiry through to submission
• Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements
• Produce accurate cost estimates and take-offs
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
• Prepare BOQs and pricing documents
• Support pre-construction and handover to delivery teams
• Ensure compliance with BS7671 and relevant standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within Building Services
• Strong understanding of tender processes and pricing
• Experience working on commercial and/or public sector projects
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Good communication and organisational skills

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Strong working knowledge of BS7671
