FIRE SPRINKLER DESIGNER

Stevenage / Hybrid Working

£60,000 – £70,000 + Bonus + Profit Share + Healthcare + Life Assurance

Strong Group are working with a growing Fire Protection contractor who are looking to recruit a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join their team based in Stevenage.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business at an early stage of its growth, with genuine opportunities to progress into senior management as the company expands.

The business was established in 2024 and is backed by a £40m turnover M&E contractor, providing a strong pipeline of work across residential and commercial projects throughout the UK.

The Role

* Design of residential and commercial fire sprinkler systems
* Production of detailed AutoCAD drawings for installation teams
* 3D Revit modelling and co-ordination with other building services
* Wet riser and dry riser design and co-ordination
* Preparation of technical submissions and supporting documentation
* Liaising with clients, consultants and internal project teams
* Supporting project delivery from design through to completion
* Contributing to the future growth and development of the business

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Fire Sprinkler Designer
* Residential and commercial sprinkler design experience
* Strong AutoCAD skills
* Revit experience
* Good understanding of wet riser and dry riser systems
* Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and documentation
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ambitious individual looking to progress within a growing business
