Head of Division – Renewable Energy Work Winning

Strong Group are working with an established M&E specialist in Kent who are seeking an accomplished professional to lead their Renewable Energy Work Winning Division within the mechanical plumbing industry, on a permanent basis.

As the Head of Division, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of renewables and plumbing systems to identify and secure new business opportunities. Harnessing your well-established network of contacts, you will play a key role in acquiring new clients and advancing our presence in the intersection of renewable energy and mechanical plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for business development within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on mechanical plumbing applications.
• Utilise your comprehensive understanding of renewable energy systems and plumbing technology to identify innovative solutions for clients.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with key stakeholders in the mechanical plumbing industry, including contractors, engineers, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead the development of persuasive proposals and presentations that showcase our expertise in renewable energy and plumbing integration.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, from initial client engagement to successful delivery.
• Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to both renewables and the mechanical plumbing sector.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance our visibility and reputation.

Qualifications:

• Substantial experience in the renewable energy sector, with a proven track record in business development and client acquisition, especially within the mechanical plumbing industry.
• Deep knowledge of renewable energy technologies and their integration into mechanical plumbing systems.
• Established network of contacts including contractors, engineers, and relevant industry associations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team to achieve business development goals.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Salary for this role has been quoted as £60,000 – £70,000 pa DOE
