HSQE Manager

Strong group is acting on behalf of its client who are one of the UK’s leading, multi-disciplined business service providers, offering data/IT services and facilities management.

My client is looking to recruit a HSQE Manager on a permanent basis, for projects around Sheffield

Candidate specification:

• Undertaking external site visits on a regular basis in various locations throughout the UK
• Providing professional support and advice to the business on Occupational Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental matters
• Assisting colleagues and contractors in respect of compliance with relevant legislation, client standards and contractual arrangements
• Promptly alerting line and functional management to significant accidents and incidents
• Providing support in developing, reviewing and monitoring of the H&S Plan and objectives and targets
• Developing, promoting and monitoring the H&S culture
• Identifying areas of risk and developing measures to reduce and control
• Identifying initiatives to improve performance and assisting in addressing areas of poor performance
• Reviewing accident and incident H&S reports and investigation
• Managing any HSQE personnel
• Managing sub-contractor HSQE applications, completing of Customer PQQs and tenders as required
• Providing an Assurance and Audit role in the company
• Producing Q&E performance reports as required
• Managing the day-to-day delivery of the ISO 9001 quality system relevant to this role

Senior Engineers/Site Managers Position Requirements

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
• Possess or working towards CMIOSH status
• Full UK driving licence
• Demonstrable background in managing Health and Safety in a construction or service-based industry will be an advantage
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills; Enjoy working with people
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent organising skills and problem-solving skills
• Be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail
• Proficient in all relevant IT systems and Microsoft office applications
• Ability to work in, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Salary on offer will be £35K – 40K, with work Package included there will be interviews taking place for the right Candidates
