HVAC Maintenance Engineer

Strong Group Recruitment are working on behalf of it’s client who are recruiting for an experienced HVAC Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis

This is a mobile position covering three site location in Surrey

Place of Work: Guildford, Merrist Wood, Farnham)
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (on site from 08:00 to 16:30)
Standby Service: On-call rota (paid additionally)
Probation Period: 3 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine planned maintenance and repairs to mechanical and HVAC plant

• Conduct general fault finding and rectification on mechanical and HVAC systems

• Maintain accurate records of work completed using the internal management system

• Participate in the emergency call-out rota (outside of normal working hours)

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and customers as part of a team

• Provide courteous service to clients and the general public

• Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality customer care

• Maintain a smart, professional appearance at all times

• Communicate clearly and effectively

• Work flexibly and perform well under pressure

• Stay up to date with relevant legislation and maintain professional competence

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical HVAC knowledge

• Relevant Mechanical HVAC qualifications

• Experience in HVAC systems and associated plumbing

• Experience working with pumps

• Domestic Heating (Gas Safe) or Air Conditioning (F-Gas) qualifications (advantageous)

• Proven experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and record keeping

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

• Familiarity with field service software

The salary for this role is £37,000k annually
