Strong Group are currently working with an established, well-known M&E Building Services Contractor based in Oxfordshire who are actively searching for a capable Mechanical Estimator to join them on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant would be experienced in producing mechanical tenders from initial enquiry through to hand-over.

The job role consists of reviewing and assessing tender documentation and requirements, issuing enquiries to sub-contractors and suppliers, take-off drawings, analysing received quotations and input items of plant and materials for the project.

Submitting accurate and competitive tenders within a given time-frame and producing a schedule of rates when required.

• Attention to detail
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
• Good IT skills, especially in Excel
• A good team player

Remuneration:

• Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 pa DOE

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8am – 5pm, Friday: 8am – 4.30pm
