We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Services Supervisor / Foreman to join a high-end hotel and accommodation development in Dartmouth.

This is an immediate requirement for an experienced mechanical professional who can take responsibility for supervising site teams, coordinating mechanical services and helping drive the project through to successful completion.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all mechanical installation works on site.

• Lead and manage mechanical operatives and subcontractors.

• Monitor progress against the programme and help achieve key project milestones.

• Ensure all mechanical works are completed safely, correctly and to a high standard.

• Coordinate mechanical services with other trades and site activities.

• Liaise with site management, clients, subcontractors and other trades.

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.

• Identify and resolve installation and coordination issues as they arise.

• Oversee works including HVAC, domestic water services, drainage, ventilation and plant room installations.

• Maintain high standards of health & safety across the mechanical works.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical services background with good all-round M&E knowledge.

• Previous experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor, Mechanical Foreman or Mechanical Site Supervisor.

• Commercial project experience essential.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, domestic water, drainage, ventilation and plant room installations.

• Confident reading drawings and coordinating mechanical installations.

• Valid SSSTS – essential.

• SMSTS would also be beneficial.
