Project Manager

Strong M&E are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager needed in Islington, London

This is a contract position for approximately 18 months

Start: ASAP
Days: Monday – Friday (5 Days a week)

We are looking for a Project Manager that comes from a construction background to work on a residential development project In Islington, London

Project manager will be knowledgeable and have experience with CLADDING and have extensive experience within the construction industry.

Project Managers must have an understanding of BAPA (Basic Asset Protection Agreement) and have worked with BAPA in the past.

• designing and applying appropriate project management standards
• managing the production of the required deliverables
• planning and monitoring the project
• adopting any delegation and use of project assurance roles within agreed reporting structures
• preparing and maintaining project, stage and exception plans as required
• managing project risks including the development of contingency plans
• monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary

Candidate Specification:

• Proven experience as construction project manager
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with construction/ project management software
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities

The day rate on offer is £350.00 per day, paid weekly CIS
