Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 or £15.25 per hour

Role Summary

A Warehouse Team Leader is required to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment in Hayes.

You will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring productivity targets are met, and maintaining high standards across accuracy, efficiency, and health & safety. The role involves hands-on leadership, performance management, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse operations including picking, packing, goods-in and dispatch
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse operatives
  • Allocate and prioritise workloads to maximise productivity
  • Monitor performance and resolve operational issues
  • Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain compliance with SOPs and quality standards
  • Train and develop team members
  • Oversee stock control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain health & safety compliance across the warehouse
  • Ensure a clean and organised working environment
  • Produce KPI reports on productivity and performance

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or Supervisor
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations
  • Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments
  • Proven ability to meet targets and deadlines
