Electrical Project Manager

Location: North West
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Car Allowance + Discretionary Bonus
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Pattern: Office based with travel to sites across the North West

Role Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a commercial construction and fit-out contractor operating across the North West.

The role will involve managing multiple electrical projects at any one time, with package values typically ranging from £50,000 to £1 million.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone comfortable taking responsibility for project delivery while also supporting estimating, health & safety, commercial control and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion
  • Oversee electrical packages ranging from £50k to £1m
  • Manage programmes, labour, materials and subcontractors
  • Manage a direct team of approximately 3-5 staff
  • Coordinate and supervise electrical subcontractors
  • Review drawings, specifications and electrical designs
  • Support estimating and tendering when required
  • Monitor project budgets, costs and delivery against programme
  • Ensure high standards of health & safety across all projects
  • Prepare and review RAMS
  • Attend client and site meetings
  • Provide regular project progress updates
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams
  • Resolve technical and operational issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality and commercial standards

Experience Required

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager or similar
  • Strong electrical building services knowledge
  • Experience delivering commercial construction, refurbishment or fit-out projects
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong subcontractor and site management experience
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
  • Good commercial awareness including budgets and cost control
  • Experience with estimating or tender support would be beneficial
  • Strong understanding of health & safety requirements
  • Confident dealing directly with clients and project stakeholders
