And according to recruiters, the number of jobs available in November and December is higher than the year average so firms look to fill vacant slots.
The continued surge of online shopping also means delivery drivers are in short supply.
While many will look to warehouse roles packing up stock – if you’ve got driving skills then getting behind the wheel of a courier van could be ideal.
Royal Mail, Amazon, Yodel and UPS all currently have vacancies with salaries from £8 to £15 an hour.
The driving industry can include roles such as HIAB , HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers, Forklift, Van, Porters & Warehouse Operations, Transport/ Warehouse Manager’s & Supervisors and much more.
