Project Electrician

Location: London / Multiple Sites
Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000k

With a focus on commercial and residential projects, the successful candidate will be working in high-profile occupied buildings and will be expected to have an excellent working knowledge of different electrical installations.
The role requires a strong working knowledge of electrical systems including wiring, containment, and fault-finding on existing systems. The successful candidate will install new electrical systems, including lighting and small power, to customer standards and maintain those systems while upholding safety guidelines and complying with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Install electrical systems in accordance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Undertake site surveys, either independently or with clients, to establish requirements.
  • Provide survey information to Contracts Managers.
  • Deliver professional technical assessments to Contracts Managers and clients.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of lighting control systems such as DALI and Exor.
  • Maintain knowledge of IEE regulations, including City & Guilds 2360 and 2382, and Inspection & Testing certification (2391).
  • Demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship to support repeat business and client satisfaction.

  • BS7671 – 18th Edition
  • City & Guilds Qualifications

Desirable

  • C&G 2391 – Testing & Inspection
  • CSCS Card
