Logistics Administrator

Location: Hayes
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000
Full-Time | Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join a busy logistics and warehouse operation based in Hayes.

This role will support the day-to-day administration and coordination of logistics operations, ensuring all processes are managed efficiently and accurately. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers, internal teams and management, helping to ensure clear communication and smooth operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately, ensuring job details, delivery schedules and site information are recorded correctly

  • Liaise with warehouse and operational teams to ensure all job information is complete and communicated to the relevant departments

  • Support management with reporting and data analysis to monitor operational performance and productivity

  • Maintain accurate customer and logistics records, ensuring documentation and correspondence are stored correctly

  • Track shipments, deliveries and operational updates within internal systems

  • Handle incoming telephone calls and email enquiries professionally, responding or directing queries where appropriate

  • Assist with document preparation, filing and general office organisation

  • Provide administrative support to senior management and operations teams when required

  • Carry out additional administrative duties to support the wider logistics function during busy periods


Requirements / Skills

  • Previous experience working in an Administration or Operations role within a Logistics or Warehouse environment is essential

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Professional communication skills with a confident telephone manner

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Email, Word and Excel)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
