Scaffolding Estimator

Location: Greenwich, London
Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 depending on experience
Package: Bonus + Company Vehicle / Car Allowance
Permanent, Full-Time

An established and rapidly growing scaffolding and construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Scaffolding Estimator to join its team in Greenwich.

With turnover now exceeding £20 million, the business has a strong pipeline of work across London and the South East, delivering scaffolding and access solutions across infrastructure, rail, commercial, industrial, heritage and construction projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for scaffolding projects from initial enquiry through to contract award.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation

• Producing scaffolding estimates and quotations

• Calculating labour, materials and plant requirements

• Attending site visits and client meetings

• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities

• Liaising with clients, design teams and operational staff

• Supporting tender submissions and negotiations

• Handing secured projects across to the delivery team

About You

Previous scaffolding estimating experience is essential.

You should have:

• Experience estimating scaffolding projects

• Good knowledge of scaffolding systems, labour and materials

• Strong commercial awareness

• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications

• Good client-facing and communication skills

The role is predominantly office based in Greenwich, with travel to sites and client meetings when required.
