Pipefitter – Farnborough

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Rate: £30.00 per hour
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6-8 weeks
Hours: 07:00 – 15:30 | 8 hours paid per day

We are currently looking for an experienced Pipefitter for a 6-8 week project in Farnborough.

The project involves installing 9 sets of run-around coils on Air Handling Units (AHUs) within existing plant rooms.

Duties will include:

• Installing mainly 2″ screwed barrel pipework

• Installation of circulation pumps, dosing pots, pressurisation units and vessels

• Operating a pipe screwing/threading machine

• Retrofitting new pipework around existing services

• Fabricating and installing Unistrut frames and pipework supports

• Building independent support frames within plant rooms where there are no walls or existing fixing points

• Measuring and setting out pipework routes around existing plant and services

• Working within congested plant room environments and finding practical solutions to installation challenges

Requirements:

• Experienced commercial/industrial Pipefitter

• Strong experience with 2″ screwed barrel/threaded steel pipework

• Confident using a pipe screwing machine

• Experience working within plant rooms and around AHUs

• Good experience with Unistrut bracketry and support systems

• Able to work independently and problem-solve when retrofitting around existing services

• Valid CSCS/Skills Card

• Own tools and PPE

• Reliable and able to work to a high standard
