2 x Pipefitters needed in Reading

Location: Reading
Position: Pipefitter
Rate: £30.00 per hour
Duration: 6 months – Start ASAP
Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:30
Overtime: Available as and when required

Role Overview

We are currently looking for 2 experienced Pipefitters for a long-term project in Reading

The position will involve carrying out first-fix mechanical installation works, including secondary steelwork and the installation of various pipework systems.

Duties will include:

• First-fix pipework installations

• Installing secondary steelwork using Sikla and Unistrut

• Installation of copper press-fit pipework

• Installation of stainless-steel flanged pipework

• Reading and working from technical drawings

Requirements

• Valid CSCS / ECS / JIB / SKILLcard, as appropriate to the trade

• NVQ Level 2 minimum or equivalent relevant qualification

• Valid IPAF

• Own tools

• Previous experience with Sikla, Unistrut, copper press-fit and stainless-steel flanged pipework

• Ability to confidently read and work from drawings
