Strong Group Recruitment are currently looking for reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for regular work with a busy transport operation based in Warrington.

Due to an increased volume of work, we’re looking for additional drivers to help cover shifts throughout the week and at weekends.

We can offer flexible working days and start times, making this ideal for drivers looking for full-time work, a few shifts each week or extra weekend work.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday: £200 per day

• Saturday & Sunday: £220 per day

• Paid per shift rather than hourly

• Regular weekly work available

The Role

• Class 1 curtainsider and box trailer work

• General haulage and trunking duties

• Daily vehicle checks

• Following all relevant transport and safety procedures

• Day shifts with various start times available

Shift Patterns & Availability

• Monday to Sunday – choose the days that suit you

• Flexible start times depending on availability and requirements

• Full weeks or individual days available

• Weekend-only drivers welcome

• Regular ongoing and ad-hoc shifts available

• Immediate starts available, or we can arrange a start date to suit you

Whether you’re available five days a week, weekends only or just the occasional shift, we’d be happy to hear from you.

Driver Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous curtainsider or box trailer experience preferred

• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and regulations

• Reliable with good communication and timekeeping
